A
question I have been asked a number of times is, "How
did you start DiagnosisMurder.co.uk and when?".
Now I would have included this in the FAQ section but
it is a bit too exrensive and not necessarily linked
with Diagnosis Murder directly.
I first really got into Diagnosis Murder in the Summer
of the year 2000. I had seen the programme before but
never really got stuck into it due to the fact of it
been shown as a daytime programme rather than been on
at prime time. At the time it was the summer holidays
for all schools in England so me and a mate passed the
time of day by watching television. This is when myself
and Paul (my mate) started to watch DM. From then on
we have become adddicted to the fantastic and compeling
television drama. By the start of September we had started
school again so we started to record every episode from
the start of Septemeber to mid-Novemever, keeping up
to date on the daily dose of Diagnosis Murder. The BBC
stopped showing Diagnosis Murder during mid November
of that year.......
The
year 2001 was now here, offering a completion of Season
5 and the dawn of Season 6 to all of the BBC viewers in
March. Happy to see the start of Diagnosis Murder again,
we recorded most of the episodes enjoying every single
one. After the sad end to that run I resorted to looking
on the internet for websites offering information on Diagnosis
Murder. After a throrough search I only found 1 site that
offered a good amount of information. It then hit me that
I should make my own website dedicated to Diagnosis Murder!
I had already done several websites for various individuals
and companies so I thought it would be worth doing! I
had the knowledge and the tools to do it, so that's just
what I did! To my amazement www.diagnosismurder.co.uk
had not been sold, so I quickly snapped that up before
anyone else and got started on the website. I started
design in March 2001 and the first DiagnosisMurder.co.uk
website, which consisted of very little was opened in
April 2001.
From
then on I have built the site up to what it is now, offering
a vast amount of information and services related to Diagnosis
Murder. As you can see the site has been very successful,
helping thousands of people worldwide find the information
they want about DM and also helping DM fans communicate
easily.
